The Basil Seed Thresher-Cleaner 🌿⚙️ is an efficient and practical tool designed to simplify separating basil seeds and other seeds of similar size. Many gardeners spend long hours removing seeds by hand 👐, which is tiring and time-consuming. This thresher provides a simple mechanical solution: place dried basil pods into the chamber, close the lid 🔒, and rotate the crank 🔄. Seeds fall through the sieve at the bottom while empty pods stay above 🍃. This system makes seed cleaning faster, easier, and more consistent.

The design uses precise tolerances. Whole pods are too large to pass under the paddles until they release their seeds. Empty pods slide under the paddles without further crushing 🍂, reducing debris. The sieve holes are sized for basil seeds, allowing most seeds to pass through while retaining most of the chaff. Some debris may pass, but overall cleaning performance is excellent ✅. Cover lightly with 0.5 cm of soil 🌍.
Maintain soil temperature between 20–25°C 🌡️.
Keep soil consistently moist 💦 until germination (5–10 days).
